Martin and I are both retired with family and grand children in UK and UAE.
We feel blessed to live in a lovely location on the UK's Fylde Coast where for us everything is here or near and safe.
Our home is fully equipped and within very easy walk of shops, choice of nice restaurants, street cafes, parks, lovely bars, Lytham House and a coastal promenade walk.
Built over three floors, our main open plan living spaces are on the first floor.
A local train station and bus services almost pass right by us. A trip to London can be 3 hours by train each way.
The Lake District is a must visit and about an hours straight forward drive from home and such a beautiful area full of lakes, fells and mountains. So many areas of natural beauty all around an hours drive such as Yorkshire Dales, Pennines, Forest of Bowland.
Football fans will be delighted to know Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool football stadiums are 55 minutes drive.
Throughout the summer our small town has almost weekly interesting events happening within a short distance and include Lytham Festival with International music stars others are craft, food, motoring and nostalgic events. A short drive by car or gentle 20 minute walk along the promenade you soon come to Fairhaven Lake with boating lake, crazy golf, tennis, small arcade, pier, vast sandy beach, sand yachting, children's amusement area also a lovely traditional small cinema.
Go only a little further along the coast and reach the seaside town of Blackpool - famous for its tower and high roller coaster plus plenty of beach, amusements to suit all ages, donkey rides, theatres, fast food, ice cream, people and would guess anything and everything you need.
At least three golf courses within ten minutes drive.

Ons huis
Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
Good sized comfortable and fully equipped house offering plenty of space and features, within walking distance to all local shops, restaurants, and the promenade.
Our house has three floors connected by a staircase:-
Ground floor is the entrance hall, together with a large double bedroom which has a very comfy pull out double settee. There is a shower and toilet room on the ground floor. There is also a large integral garage, which houses the washing machine and tumble drier. There is also a lovely sunny small garden out the front of the property.
The second floor is our main living and eating area where we have a lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchen.
There is a small verandah off the dining room and we often have breakfast here and barbeque in the evening.
The third floor has our master bedroom with king size bed, en-suite with bath, shower, and toilet, plus there is an additional large shower and toilet room on this floor too.

Perfect spot to walk daily, enjoy the sea views, lovely friendly people. There are plenty of busses, a train station and many locations to drive too.

From our home you walk right 300m and reach our nearest supermarket called Booths. Super choice and food quality.
From our home if you turn left you come to the lovely promenade where you can stroll or walk for miles and miles.
You can be spoilt for choice if wanting a coffee, alcohol or food. A short walk from home of between 75 to 500m will give you a whole choice of street cafe snacks through to really nice restaurants. A choice of freshly prepared British, Italian, Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian, Thai and Korean food. A choice of three good fish & chip shops too. Also, plenty of ladies and gents clothes and shoe shops.
