Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
My house is a 12-year old rammed earth courtyard cottage approximately 1 hour's drive south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula. It has all modern conveniences. It is within 5 minutes walk of a beautiful sandy beach and shops, and close to internationally reknown Southern Vales vineyards and wineries. Also close to golf courses and art galleries, the ferry to Kangaroo Island, and easy driving distance to coastal resorts, whale watching in season, and national parks. Well known bush walking area with many well defined tracks through scrubland and forest. The village is small and in a rural setting of rolling green hills and pasture. It is very popular with beachgoers during summer. There are very good restaurants and cafes with amazingly good coffee, all seasons. The beach is a family-oriented beach, but there are very good surfing beaches within a 30-minute drive. Dolphins can often be spotted trawling along the beach. Watch the kangaroos grazing while having drinks in the courtyard. Magical sunsets over the ocean.
This house is my beach get-away and so exchanges do not need to be simultaneous.
