We have recently returned from a very enjoyable three week stay at Margaret and Alan's house in Lynton. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of Adelaide or the sea from every window and the decking. It is surrounded by mature eucalyptus trees and there is lots of birdlife with Rosellas and Lorikeets visiting daily. There are also several local walking trails. It is very conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood but only a five minute walk to the local train station for the short ride to the city centre. Many lovely beaches are easily accessible by car as are the Adelaide hills for walks and wineries and the Fleurieu Peninsula for McLaren Vale wines and more beaches. Kangaroo Island is also possible for an overnight trip. Margaret and Alan were very hospitable and welcoming. Alan picked us up from the airport, they gave us lunch and provided us with lots of information about the house and area. Margaret was a great communicator throughout despite long interruptions in the arrangements due to Covid! An excellent exchange - we recommend it. Margaret and Alan left our house in immaculate condition.

The house is ideally situated a short walk from a station to go into the town centre and to the Belair National Park. It was very clean and well equipped and we had a very warm welcome from Margaret and Alan. We had a wonderful stay.

Altogether a great exchange.

We very much enjoyed staying in your home, with its wonderful views from the deck. We made the most of the location and made many visits to Belair for the lovely walks there. It was also very convenient to be able to take the train into the city. Thank your you! David and Julia.
